A huge set-up gives master chef, Claus Meyer, the biggest challenge imaginable. In 12 hours, he must make food for 1,000 people, but without power. The format is based on a pop-up restaurant, in which Meyer and his team, assisted by volunteers from the local community, build a kitchen and a restaurant, starting at dawn, and opening the doors at 6.00 pm. All ingredients are local. In a race against the clock, they struggle up until the eleventh hour to make food for the 1,000 people.
